Level of cover for Ola insurance

As with a standard car insurance policy, there are three levels of cover to choose from:

Third party – the minimum amount of cover required by law, covers any third party in the case of an accident where you are at fault.

Third party, fire and theft – offering the same cover as above but will also cover you if the car you use for Ola is stolen or damaged due to fire.

Comprehensive Ola insurance – also known as fully comprehensive, you are also covered for damage to your own vehicle in the event of an accident where you are at fault.

Contrary to popular belief, third party only insurance is not always the cheapest, in actual fact, fully comprehensive insurance can often be the cheapest and it gives you the highest level of protection. Equally, if working as a cab driver for Ola is one of your main sources of income, could you afford to fix/replace your vehicle if you had an at fault accident and you did not have comprehensive cover?

Alongside the standard three levels of cover there are also other covers that you can include in your policy, for example windscreen protection, legal protection and more.

If you need advice/assistance on what to include in your Ola insurance policy, get help from a panel of insurance specialists by completing the quote form today. It’s free and there is no obligation to purchase a policy.
