  • Does ASDA offer a currency card? 

ASDA also offers a pre-paid currency card for ease of use. Available in 7 currencies, the Travel Moneycard can be used at 2.1 million ATMs worldwide with no transaction fees. It can also be topped up online and because it is a Mastercard, is accepted at over 36 million shops, bars and restaurants worldwide. 

  • How does ASDA offer currency? 

Choose between Home Delivery for £3.99, or free when you order over £600 of travel money. Alternatively, Click and Collect from one of 135 travel bureaus across the country for free. 

  • Is ASDA FCA authorised? 

Yes, ASDA Travel Money is fully authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. 

  • Do ASDA take credit card payments, and do they charge a fee? 

ASDA accept credit payments as part of their holiday money service. For this, a 1.5% credit card handling fee applies. 

  • Can you choose a delivery date with ASDA? 

As part of its service, ASDA offers next day delivery if you order before 2pm, but you can’t choose more granularly than that. Delivery is free over £600 or £3.95 for amounts below this. 

  • Does ASDA allow you to amend/cancel an order? 

Home delivery orders cannot be cancelled as once the money is requested, the process begins quickly to ensure next day delivery. With ASDA’s buy back service, you have the option to sell any unused currency. 

  • Can you specify denominations with ASDA? 

If you choose the Click and Collect option, you will be able to specify denominations when visiting one of the bureaus in store. 

  • Do I need to bring ID to collect from ASDA? 

You’ll need the payment card you placed your order with as well as a valid photo ID such as a passport or driving licence matching the card holder’s details.
