About our company
Our company was originally launched in 2008 and after a period of 6 years, the company was rebranded as Quote Goat in 2014 with the primary goal of helping U.K. consumers and businesses save money. At the time, a number of websites in the same space were owned by large insurance companies, leading to the public rightly questioning the fairness and transparency of what was on offer. Quote Goat set out to change this by remaining privately owned and committing to always giving prominence to product providers based on merit and never on our financial gain. In light of this, whenever a customer sees a provider at the top of a comparison table or a comparison partnership on our site, our customers can rest assured that the provider they are seeing is there based solely on what we believe is best for our customers.

About our team
Quote Goat’s Managing Director, Michael Foote, launched the company after a career in finance in London. With a natural passion for investment and saving he enjoyed sharing what he had learned during his time in the City with anyone that wanted help. During this time, it became obvious that people were calling out for trustworthy, clear and concise guidance and it wasn’t long after that Quote Goat was born.

Starting his career as a trainee stockbroker before moving on to working at HSBC, Michael is a passionate entrepreneur who remains involved in a currency business that he started prior to launching Quote Goat. Since launching Quote Goat he has appeared on TV as well as many of the largest online publications including Forbes, The Telegraph and The Metro. He is currently a regular contributor to The Money Pages.
Hannah Moreland, Marketing Director
Since graduating, Hannah has gained a wealth of experience in the marketing industry and now uses her expertise to head up the marketing department at Quote Goat with the ultimate goal of building brand awareness. Hannah manages a number of outsourced providers, all of whom who contribute to Quote Goat’s growth rate, currently at 35% for this year.
Phillip Collins, Head Of Search
When it comes to search engines, Phillip is the person to turn to. Running his own successful business, Phillip’s company is one of the handpicked businesses that Quote Goat works with. A lot of the material on the site comes from Phillip’s team of content experts who are well-versed in the financial and insurance sectors.
